Overview | Microcontroller | IR | Tape | Drivetrain | Power

The Death Star uses the E128 microcontroller. Several circuit boards were created, all built to send data to the main microcontroller board.

The microcontroller board contains multiple debouncing circuits, as well as LED circuits. The infrared board seeks out a signal from the emitting flags and beacon towers, filters and amplifies the signal, and sends the original signal to the microcontroller board. The tape sensor board detects the variety of paint and tape colors on the field. The drivetrain circuit drives the two maxon motors. The power board circulates regulated power to all of the boards.
