Circuits for Flash Sensing
Description and Calculations
This circuit is simply a phototransistor and a resistor, connected to an input compare that captures rising edges only. The interrupt that is triggered allows the robot to enter the state machine. The 33k resistor was chosen experimentally for excellent flash sensitivity.
